Global Data Ethics Foundation Launches Initiative to Support Transparency in AI

In an effort to promote transparency and build responsible AI technologies, the Global Data Ethics Foundation has launched the “Open AI Proposal” project, which aims to further clarify the process of building AI technologies for everyone by revealing the steps involved in building them responsibly. This project was developed by experts in the field working at various tech giants such as Meta, Google and Samsung, who have prepared a guide for safe AI systems consisting of 84 questions for developers to consider when starting to develop any AI technology. The initiative also invites the public to submit their own questions about the technology, thus making the process of developing AI technologies more understandable to them and encouraging mutual communication between all stakeholders regardless of their scientific backgrounds to participate in constructive discussions about responsible and ethical AI technologies without limiting innovation.
